Plympton Family Update
December 1, 2023
From the Plympton Admin Team
Hello, Families!
We had a great week here at Plympton. On Thursday we had our November Community Meeting and talked about ways to show gratitude. Students will be creating cards and artwork for places such as nursing homes this month.
Officer Dani and Mrs. Johnson have been visiting first grade classrooms to deliver lessons related to kindness and manners. Please ask your first graders about Froggy and his new friend!
Our Lost and Found is growing rapidly! It would be very helpful if you could label your child's clothing. This will help us return items much quicker!
Have a great weekend!
Go Penguins!
Sincerely,
Adrienne Norris and Amanda Brennan

Our Leader In Me student focus for the month of December is giving back to our community! Students will be creating cards and artwork for different agencies/community services in Waltham to show their appreciation and gratitude. Some examples are hospitals, nursing homes, fire stations, etc.
If you would like to donate this month please sign up here. We are so appreciative of the Plympton community-thank you again!
If you would rather donate your time, we will be looking for help delivering the cards students create! If you would like to help with this please email taylorjohnson@walthampublicschools.org

When your student's after school dismissal arrangements change, please send a note to your child's homeroom teacher. If you prefer to email, please also include our fabulous secretary, Mrs, Conneely, at meghanconneely@walthampublicschools.org. Mrs. Conneely and Officer Dani double check every bus list every day and cross check with the attendance for the Champion after school program to be certain kids are getting to correct location after school. Please make every effort to communicate any changes as early as possible. Calls after 2:30 slow down our dismissal process.
All student must ride the bus they are assigned. Students may not switch buses.
