A Message from your Principal
Dear Rainiers,
The holiday season is upon us, and there’s magic in the air here at Columbia Crest Academy! We are thrilled to announce our upcoming Winter Concert on Friday, December 13 at 7:00 PM. All K-5 students should report to their classrooms by 6:45 PM. Leadership students will be selling cocoa outside, and the 8th-grade class will host a bake sale full of delicious treats. After the concert, parents can pick up their children from their classrooms.
As we enjoy the festivities, it’s also the season to bundle up! Please ensure your child heads out the door each day in a warm winter coat. If you need assistance securing a coat for your child, don’t hesitate to reach out to me directly.
For our new families, a friendly reminder that the weather in Ashford can differ from Eatonville or Graham. Please check the forecast for the Ashford area and prepare accordingly, especially as our nature-based program continues to thrive through the seasons. While winter weather may sometimes keep us indoors, we are excited to continue weaving nature into our classrooms in creative and meaningful ways.

We Could Use Your Help With:
Student Cell Phones: K-5 Student cell phones must remain put away throughout the school day. Middle school teachers have a procedure for cell phone collection each morning. Cell phones can hinder and distract from the learning process, and we strive to maintain a focused, engaging environment for all students. Please take a moment to discuss this policy with your child and remind them of its importance. If you need to reach your child during the school day, please contact our office directly, and we will ensure your message is delivered promptly. Thank you for your support in helping us create the best learning environment for our students!
Spare Clothes: Preschool-2nd grade students should have a spare change of clothes left at school in case of an accident.
Changes in Transportation: Please submit this link before 1pm any day that your child has a change in how they are getting home.
We are so proud of the successes and engagement of our students in Quarter 1 and look forward to the joy and learning that this winter will bring. Thank you for being an essential part of our community, and we can’t wait to see you at the concert!
Warmly,
Principal Burslem

- During recess time, students can visit the Santa Shop to purchase gifts for their family members.
- It's a wonderful opportunity for kids to experience the joy of giving! 🎄
We can't wait to see the holiday cheer they spread with their special surprises! 🎅🎁

📣 💼 We're Hiring Para-Subs 💼 📣
We are currently looking for substitute paraeducators to step in and support our school when needed. If you or someone you know would be interested in this rewarding opportunity, we encourage you to reach out!
As a paraeducator substitute, you will have the flexibility to choose the areas in which you feel most comfortable. Whether it's working directly with students, assisting in classrooms, teaching art or environmental education lessons, providing reading and math interventions, or supervising recess, there’s a role for everyone.
