First, I would like to send a heartfelt thank you to the staff, parents, and community for their warm welcome last week. I am elated to be back at Zephyrhills High School where my children graduated and where I worked for several years in the past. Thank you for the chance to lead ZHS to being the best it has ever been!
To achieve the success we are all looking for, please know that it takes a village. I am looking forward to collaborating with all stakeholders to ensure each and every bulldog is ready for college, career, and life after graduation. It is my mission to involve parents and other stakeholders every step of the way so that we are all working toward a common goal.
The first step to success is ensuring each student is in class on time. We have been working this past week on getting students to class and staying in class each period of the day. Please talk to your student about the importance of being in class on time, putting away electronic devices, and immersing themselves in the learning. Our teachers are eager to engage them in all facets of critical thinking which is an essential component to success in life and we need your support to ensure it's happening.
This is just the beginning of our time together and I am very excited to play a small part in each student's journey!
