Hansen Weekly Update
Aug. 29th, 2024
Welcome to the 2024-25 School Year!
Hello Hansen Families,
I hope you've all had excellent summer vacations and are excited to start the 2024-25 School Year!
We've had an exciting first week of school welcoming back our 1st through 5th graders, and when we return to school on Tuesday, will enjoy welcoming our Kindergarten students!
This week we've enjoyed some beautiful weather that's given us plenty of opportunity to utilize our rear playground, and Little League Field, as we eagerly await the completion of our new Front Playground (pictures below)! Students did an excellent job meeting their teachers and new classmates, settling into routines and beginning their school year. When our Kindergarten friends join us on their first day of school on Tuesday, we can't wait to welcome them!
We wish everyone a wonderful Labor Day Weekend, as we have no school tomorrow, Friday Aug. 30th, and no school Monday, Sept. 2nd. We return to school with doors opening at 8:20 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 3rd, which is also our first day of school for Kindergarten students. Have a great long weekend!
With Hansen Pride,
Paul McKnight

Important - NEW School Start Time This Year
**Attention parents - our Hansen Elementary School's start / end times are now 8:40 a.m. and 2:55 p.m. If they are at their bus stop on time every day, and/or dropped off at 8:20 a.m., when doors open, they won't face the stress of being late, and learn the value of being on time.
