Our Back to School Night will be this coming Wednesday, September 13th from 5-7pm. You will have the opportunity to meet teachers, counselors, learn about school programs and events, and register to the Parent Portal accounts.

Nuestra Noche de Regreso a la Escuela será el próximo miércoles 13 de septiembre de 5-7pm. Tendrá la oportunidad de conocer a maestros, consejeros, aprender sobre programas y eventos escolares y registrarse en las cuentas del Portal para padres.

• Better Together Week 9-11 to 9-15- Let's celebrate our differences and spread Kindness!
• ELAC Officers Training will be on Tuesday, September 12th from 5:30-7:30. You can join us in person at the Parent Center or online https://lausd.zoom.us/j/87204632295.
• Back to School Night will be on Wednesday, Sept 13th from 5 - 7 PM come and join us.
• On Thursday there will be a 12th Grade College Astembly during Advisory.
• Club Fair will be on Friday during Lunch. Come to learn more about all the clubs and join a few.
• Having tech trouble? Fill out a Tech Ticket HERE (make sure you are using your LAUSD account) to get help from Mr. De Leon!
  
• Students - keep your friends and our campus safe, See Something? Say Something! by talking to an adult right away or filling out this anonymous form on our website!
• Families - want to leave us feedback? Have a non-urgent question? Use the Parent Feedback Form on our Website!

• Parents and employees can choose to Opt back into receiving Outreach (general) messages by calling (855) 502-7867 from any phone number that was previously Opted-Out. You can also sign up for Parent Portal and get notifications on the Schoology App!

• The Diversity and Inclusion Committee has organized the Better Together Week. You will receive themed tickets every day. Please give them to students who are demonstrating a behavior for that day. Encourage students to earn those tickets!
• The 5 week grading window closes this Thursday, September 14th please submit your grades on time!
• Senior Advisories there will be an Astembly this Thursday. Please take attendance and be on time.
• Club Fair will take place on Friday during lunch!
• Teachers must sign in at the STEM office first thing in the morning and before 8:05 am to ensure compliance with the EWA.
  
• Take accurate attendance in each class within the first 10 minutes. Indicate the time of arrival for those students who are tardy and have students sign in using this form.
• Please enforce hall pass rules - One student per pass, sign-out for a pass, wear your lanyard & ID, and no hall passes in the first or last 10 minutes of class!
• Don't forget to wear your lanyard and ID at all times when you are on campus, please also enforce this rule for all your students, especially when they ask to use the pass to exit your room for any reason.
• Please update the Tutoring Schedule as soon as possible.
• Please review this newsletter with your students, there are announcements & reminders for staff at the top student section also!
