Welcome To Week 38!
Dear Brahma Family,
Congratulations to Logan Park for winning the Individual Championship on the Southern California Golf Association's CIF Championship last week. This tournament brings together all of the best golfers in Southern California from the Southern, L.A. City, and San Diego Sections. We have had some incredibly talented golfers play at DBHS, including two PGA Tour professionals, and Logan is the first Brahma to capture this title (read and watch the rest of the story below).
Finals Week is here! As you prepare for your exams, remember to stay positive, stay focused, take breaks, and get plenty of sleep. Believe in yourself and good luck on your exams!
In addition to being Finals Week, this is also a time to reflect on all we’ve accomplished and the memories we've made. Thank you for your hard work and support of Diamond Bar High School throughout the school year.
To our seniors, Congratulations! We will celebrate all that you've achieved at Thursday’s Commencement exercises. Your hard work, dedication, and resilience have prepared you well, and we couldn't be prouder.
As you step into the future, remember the lessons you've learned, the friendships you've made, and the memories you've created here at Diamond Bar High School. Stay curious, keep working hard, and never stop revealing your greatness. We will miss you, but we are excited to see all the incredible things you will accomplish.
I hope everyone has a wonderful summer!
Sincerely,
David Hong

Logan Park - 2024 CIF SoCal Boys Golf Champion!
Ten-under at Los Serranos South is about as good as it gets. What makes it even more impressive is that DBHS sophomore shot even-par across the par-fives. Eight birdies. One eagle. And a CIF regional title captured in historic fashion 🏆🎤
He could taste victory as approached the 207-yard par-three 9th hole, his final of the day, holding a three-stroke cushion. Park proceeded to stick his tee shot to less than 10 feet from the cup, then roll home his eighth birdie of the day to cap a faultless 64 that will go down in the record books.
“I was dropping every putt. Anywhere from the green,” said Park. “I struck it really well today so I would stick it pretty close to the hole…Everything just worked together.”
Next up for Park is the CIF State Championship on May 29 at San Gabriel CC. “It’s going to be my first time at states, so I’m excited about that,” said Park. “The competition is going to be strong so that’s going to be really fun. I’m hoping I can play well there”
