SAFE AND CARING SCHOOLS
GSACRD Voice
Thankgiving is upon us, it's a wonderful time to focus on the importance of gratitude. Practicing gratitude can boost your child’s mental well-being and foster a positive outlook. Encourage your child to reflect on what they’re thankful for, whether through journaling, family discussions, or sharing moments of appreciation. Highlighting and celebrating the positives, even in challenging times, can help build resilience and improve their overall mood. By nurturing a grateful mindset, we can support our children in developing a more balanced and optimistic perspective.

Beautiful Bits Of The Bible
Psalm 85:8–9, NIV
I will listen to what God the Lord says; he promises peace to his people, his faithful servants – but let them not turn to folly. Surely his salvation is near those who fear him, that his glory may dwell in our land.
Swimming With Your Boots On
Gospel Reading Mark 10:17-22
28th Sunday in Ordinary Time
Jesus lays it out for the rich young man. Give it all away and follow me. But it's not about his money. It's about what's holding him back from being completely free to live the life Jesus has for him and with him. It's like swimming with your boots on. Lose those boots.

Our Thanksgiving liturgy was a beautiful celebration of gratitude and community, bringing us all together in reflection and appreciation. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed to organizing this special event, with a special shout-out to Mrs. Sansano for her dedication and effort in making it a success. Your hard work and spirit truly enriched our gathering, reminding us of the blessings we share.
We'd also like to send a special thank you to our new Division Faith Lead, Lynn Zakreski. Thank you so much Lynn for sharing in this day with us and for your beautiful words.
