Parent and Student Information
Greetings Buena Families!
At Buena, we love❤️ our students and strive to provide educational support and social emotional support to prepare students for the next phase of life! We care and we are here to help!
**There is NO SCHOOL on Feb. 16 & 19 for President's day.
**Congratulations to all of our winter athletes for competing hard and representing Buena well! A special shout out to Girls' Water Polo, Girls' soccer and Girls' basketball for making it to the 2nd/3rd round of CIF playoffs! And congrats to our 3 wrestlers, Ryan Pedroza, David Lopez and Sofia Kawano, who will move on to the Masters this weekend! We are proud of you!
**Seniors! Our FAFSA/Dream Act workshop is in 2/22 from 5-7 PM. Financial aid experts will be on site to help parents/guardians and students apply for the FAFSA/Dream ACT.
**We have a MINIMUM day on February 28 for staff professional development. Students are released at 12:55 PM.
**Parents, are you interested in the "Athletic Punch Card?" Buena has started an “Athletic Punch Card” program. It is similar to a “Parent Pack” sticker. Families and fans can buy a “Fan Pack” for $75 and use the punch card for 10 events (with a few exceptions). Multiple family members can use the same card. The card can be purchased at our student store or at the entry of games.
**We offer school TUTORING Mondays after school and Wednesdays before school in the library! We will not have tutoring tomorrow morning, 1/24, and next week we will only have tutoring on Wednesday morning, then we will return to our usual schedule.
Thank you for your continued support of Buena High School! Please let us know how we can assist you.
Thank you,
