This month in history

On October 9-10, 1913:

The Elizabethton Soldiers Monument is officially dedicated to coincide with the eighteenth annual reunion of the 13th Tennessee Cavalry. Dedicated to ALL Carter County soldiers from the Revolution on down, both Federal and Confederate, the monument was dressed in American flag bunting and festivities included live music, parades, and addresses from the soldiers themselves.

Customer Spotlight

In light of the recent tragedies, we would like to put a spotlight on Keri and the team at Elizabethton Elks Lodge who are leading a coordinated effort for volunteers and donations for the surrounding area that has been devastated by the flood. The Elizabethton Elks Lodge has been a customer for over 30 years at Elizabethton Federal and we are so glad to have their help in our community.
