Rays Update
September 13, 2024
Message from the Principal
Rays,
What a great week it has been. We are so appreciative of all the money raised for PTA through APEX. This money will help with our school garden, teacher professional learning, and campus improvement. We had a great day on Thursday celebrating our students with the fun run. I have attached a collage of pictures below.
I am excited to invite parents to campus on September 24th from 9 am - 10 am for our first Site-Based meeting. We will use a Coffee with the Principal format to discuss our instructional goals for the 2024-2025 school year. I have linked a sign-up form below. In the form there is a space for questions. I will do my best to answer any questions submitted ahead of the meeting.
I want to encourage any parent who has not done so already, to provide feedback on student leadership at Reagan. As we enter our partnership with Leader in Me, your feedback is of the upmost importance. Please take a few minutes to tell us about the leadership opportunities provided to your child at Reagan.
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend,
Alison Pennington
Principal

Counselor Message
My name is Carol Bowers and I am the school counselor at Reagan Elementary. I spend most of my time with students in classroom guidance lessons covering a variety of social skills. Our goal at Reagan is that students receive guidance lessons with the school counselor about once a month. Please check out Counseling Corner for more information and resources. If you have questions, please feel free to reach out to me at Carolina.Bowers@leanderisd.org or call 512-570-7200.
If your family has a pet and would like their pet's picture displayed in my office please send a photo to my email, send your child with a picture of your pet(s) and/or ask your child to draw a picture of your pet and we’ll proudly display them in the counselor’s office.
