Ms. Panella's Class
Students recently enjoyed an engaging and educational presentation from the Pennsylvania Resources Council, who visited to demonstrate the Delaware County Watershed model. Through this interactive experience, students learned how local water systems function, how pollution impacts our environment, and what they can do to protect natural resources in our community. The hands-on demonstration sparked curiosity and encouraged thoughtful discussions about sustainability and environmental responsibility.
Mrs. Bruno's Math Class
Students participated in a collaborative activity to review angle relationship vocabulary. In groups, they responded to prompts on sticky notes without seeing previous answers. After rotating through several folders, they opened the final one to sort responses into “agree,” “disagree,” or “not sure” and shared their reasoning with the class. The activity encouraged discussion, critical thinking, and peer learning in a fun, interactive way.
Making Memories...
Ms. Rush's Class
Engineering students put their creativity and problem-solving skills to the test by designing paper roller coasters. The challenge was to build a track that kept a marble safely on course while still delivering a thrilling ride. After constructing their coasters, students participated in a final judging round, where classmates evaluated each design for safety, excitement, and overall creativity. It was a fun and engaging way to apply engineering principles in action!
Boys & Girls Track Team Competed at the Royal Relays
Our student-athletes had an impressive showing at this year’s Royal Relays, bringing home a total of 18 medals! The girls and boys teams earned 6 gold, 8 silver, and 4 bronze medals across various events. Their hard work, determination, and team spirit were on full display—congratulations to all who competed!
Winners of the PBIS Cell Phone Challenge
During our Cell Phone Challenge, students were rewarded with Royal Crowns for keeping their phones in their bags for the entire class period. Random class periods were selected throughout the challenge, giving students multiple opportunities to earn rewards for responsible behavior. Just before spring break, a prize drawing was held. Students placed their Royal Crowns into boxes for the gift card of their choice—Target, Chick-fil-A, Wawa, Roblox, or Amazon—and winners were drawn for each category. It was a fun and positive way to promote focus and limit distractions in the classroom!
