8/19/24
August 19, 2024
As of this week, every one of our Fall sports has begun. We hope that over the course of their high school experience, gets involved in two or more sports or activities over their time in high school. Research suggests that students who participate have higher grade point averages and are more connected to school. Stay tuned to future newsletters and the in-school announcements for more activity opportunities as we begin the year.
We look forward to seeing our students in competition!

PARKING
If you have completed the Back to School Check-in and applied for parking, we will start handing out parking tags on Thursday, August 22nd at the high school office. To pick up your parking tag, Back to School Check-in must be completed, you will need to have all fees paid and no outstanding detentions. Your account will be charged for parking and it is preferred, but not required, that you pay for the entire year ($200). You may pay online or bring in a check (payable to Franklin High School), cash or card when picking up your tag. You will also need to bring in your current driver license and proof of insurance for the car we have on file. Expired insurance cards will prohibit you from obtaining your tag.
Tags will only be sold on the following dates/times.
Thursday, August 22nd from 8:00 am until 3:00 pm
Monday, August 26th from 8:00 am until 3:00 pm
Tuesday, August 27th from 8:00 am until 3:00 pm
Wednesday, August 28th from 8:00 am until 3:00 pm
Thursday, August 29th, from 8:00 am until 3:00 pm
Tuesday, September 3rd, from 9:00 am until 2:00 pm
**Beginning on Wednesday, September 4th, parking tags will be sold after school only! If you have not taken care of the process before your first day of school, you are not allowed to park on school grounds and can be ticketed.**
Student parking spots are numbered and are selected randomly by picking a number. You will need to decide which student lot you prefer to park in and that is where you will park for the entire school year. We are selling tags for the south lot (Student Lot A) which is on the Saber Center end of the building, and the north lot (Student Lot B) which is on the pool end of the building. After you decide on which lot to park in, you will be picking a number from a bucket (no trading) and this will be your spot for the entire school year.
If you have not completed Back to School Check In, please have your parents sign into the Powerschool Parent Portal to access and finish this required process. Please do not come in for a tag until this process is done. Paper parking applications (https://www.franklin.k12.wi.us/franklin-high-school/student-information/parking) will be accepted only if you did not apply for parking during the Back to School Check-in process.
