A while back, I shared that we were focusing on being very clear in our expectations for students. This clarity provides much-needed structure to our day. Research shows that such structure allows students to focus more on learning.

When students meet expectations—whether in the hallway, lunchroom, or classroom—they receive CHAMPS Cheer tickets. These tickets serve multiple purposes, including working toward a whole-school incentive. Our students have been working incredibly hard this trimester, and I’m thrilled to announce that we have finally filled our CHAMPS Cheer bin to earn our first whole-school celebration!

Next Friday, students will enjoy a whole-school movie day as a reward. Help us celebrate this wonderful accomplishment by congratulating your student and asking them about the CHAMPS Cheers they’ve earned.

A Few Reminders:

• Winter Break: If your family is traveling for the holidays and your child will be missing school, please notify Mrs. Woitas in the office. This helps us avoid unnecessary calls home to check in.
• Student Safety: To ensure student safety, we kindly ask that dogs remain at home during pick-up. If you must bring your dog, please keep them off school property to accommodate students with allergies or those who may feel uneasy around pets. Thank you for helping us prioritize safety.
• Spirit Week: Next week is a spirit week! See the schedule below for each of the days.
