Engage Brooks
Engaging the Best of Brooks to Support Student Growth
Welcome to October, Trojans!
Each month we publish our newsletter to share resources to support our Trojans and their academic experiences. This month is much different. The events of Hurricane Helene left our community faced with challenges and heartache, but we have also proven just how resilient the Brooks County Trojans are in the face of hardship!
Our BCSD staff express our sincere gratitude for the strength and resilience you and your families have shown during this challenging storm. Together, we weathered the storm and emerged stronger. As we look forward to returning to school in the weeks ahead, we are excited to reunite with our Brooks County Trojan family.
This newsletter serves as a central resource for important information and updates related to our recovery efforts. Please stay safe and continue to be kind to your neighbors during this time, for we are all in this together.
The following opportunity for a warm meal was shared on social media. Please note that this opportunity is available while supplies last today, Wednesday, October 2, 2024.
This Saturday, some incredible people from Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Bainbridge are coming to Quitman to serve lunch for up to 800 people! We are incredibly blessed to have them give back to our community in need.
If you or someone you know is looking for a hot meal, please help spread the word by sharing this post. Let’s come together and support this beautiful act of kindness.
