If your student has specific activity restrictions or needs accommodations, she will communicate that with all of the appropriate teachers and staff members for you.

MIDDLE SCHOOL INTRAMURALS
Another amazing floor hockey season is wrapping up. Students have enjoyed the competition almost as much as hearing Mr. Libby say the team names on the morning announcements! Teams are completing the final "regular round" games this afternoon, with playoffs happening on Monday and Wednesday of next week. All teams are invited to stay for both playoff games, regardless of if they are playing.

Things to Talk About
- The WCS Talent Show is happening next Friday, March 21st, at 6:00pm. This show will feature performances from students in grades 4-8, with a special staff act! Donations toward a new Gaga ball (playground feature) will be accepted at the door.
- You know spring in Maine- if you don't like the weather, just wait a moment! At school it's also the season for layers and changes of clothing. We are outside each day for recess and motor breaks and there are many chances for students to get wet and muddy, if they try hard enough. It's a good idea to send a spare set of clothing in for your student to keep in their locker in case they need to change. Remember to write your last name on these items so they can be returned to their owners if they are misplaced.
- The WCS Backpack program is always accepting new families. If you would like a free bag of snacks and fresh produce sent home on on Fridays, please reach out to Mrs. Pratt at jpratt@rsu1.org. It costs nothing to enroll, and you can opt out at anytime, as needed. This confidential program is meant to provide some food over the weekends, and can be utilized by any WCS family!
