Culvert Fish Art
We're so grateful for Tyonek Tribal Conservation Distrist's Ms. Dasha and Ms. Olivia for coming in and teaching us a lesson about the local culvert project, and its importance to salmon conservation. Wow!! Did you know this particular project is the largest culvert in the state of Alaska? It's impressive! We can't wait to showcase our K-5 fish art at the ceremony this Friday at 10:45 am at the culvert. Please look to the flyer for more details!
Thank you to KPBSD's Ms. Denise (Director of Student Support Services), Ms. Heidi (School Nurse), Ms. Hayley (Occupational Theraphy), and Ms. RaeAnn (Special Education Teacher) for coming to Tebughna and supporting our students last week. We feel very encouraged as a team, and as a school, are so grateful for the opportunities provided by our district that helps students be their very best!
In our ongoing commitment to prioritize the health and well-being of our students and staff, we want to inform you about our KPBSD Symptom-Free Protocol. This protocol is designed to create a safer environment for everyone by minimizing the risk of the spread of illnesses. We kindly request that you ensure your child is symptom-free before sending them to school each day. This includes checking for common symptoms such as fever, cough, sore throat, and difficulty breathing. If your child exhibits any of these symptoms or has been in close contact with someone who has tested positive for an infectious illness, we strongly encourage you to keep them at home, and consult with the clinic. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter, as the collective efforts of our school community are crucial in maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment for all.
Remindar to parents and guardians to please update your child(ren)'s information and permissions or new/ returning students for the 2024-2025 school year! Please follow this link to update:-)
Are you interested in making a positive impact on a Tebughna school scholar? Please consider volunteering in our school and look to the following link for safeguards required: https://kpbsd.org/departments/assistant-superintendent/instructional-services/hr/volunteer/
