Teacher/Staff Appreciate Week Thank You

Thank you to all the families who made this week special for our staff. Your generous donations of gift cards, snacks, donuts, etc. were truly appreciated. All the notes and donations really are appreciate by our staff and remind them how supportive of a community we have. THANK YOU!!

Parking Lot Dismissal - Week 2 of trials

As we shared last week, parking lot dismissal (both timing and safety) were top concerns of our students and parents (as was shared in the district survey given earlier this year). To find the most efficient and safest plan, we have been collecting data on a few different options/scenarios. Our next week's plan is the following:

• All RHS parents must turn right
• All students exiting out of north exit must turn right
• All students exiting out of south exit must turn left
• All 9GA parents must turn left
• See picture below

This scenario will drastically reduce "cross traffic" and should be a safer method of dismissal. We appreciate your support in helping us to find the safest and fastest method of dismissal.

AP Testing
AP testing begins next week! If you missed the information video in class, please watch that HERE. All information needed for testing is included in the video. For a recap, view the slides HERE, as well as the Parent Letter. If you have any questions, please reach out to Mrs. Zelmanski.

2024 SAT/PSAT Results

SAT/PSAT results become available sometime in early/mid May. Many students have already been contacted by CollegeBoard that their scores were available (if they chose this option when setting up their account). Regardless if students chose to be notified or not, they will be able to access their scores through their CollegeBoard account. The letter below provides further directions. If your student's scores are not available yet, they should be soon.

Saturday School

Saturday School will begin next week. Please read the attached letter for more information:

Romeo Restored Presents: The Prom Closet

This event is open to any RHS student who will be attending Prom. If you haven't found that special outfit for prom, look no further! Romeo Restored can help! We have a large selection of dresses, suits, shoes, and accessories! Signup for a private shopping slot - parents are encouraged to attend! You are welcome to sign up with a friend, we have 3 available dressing rooms. More dates/times can be added if needed. Romeo Restored is located off of the main commons at RHS, near the auditorium.

**Note: Names will not appear on the signup, it will only show the slot as filled.

FAFSA AND FREE PIZZA FOR A YEAR????

Michigan high school seniors have the chance to follow their dreams AND win free pizza for a year,* just by filling out the newly simplified FAFSA by June 30, 2024. *See Official Rules & Eligibility Requirements for details.

ENTERING IS AS EASY AS PIE:

1. Create FSA ID’s (both student and parent)
2. Fill out the FAFSA form together. (It’s only 36 questions, no essay required!)
3. Text FAFSA to 844-34-PIZZA.
4. Already completed the FAFSA? You’re still eligible. Just text FAFSA to 844-34-PIZZA to enter.

MICHIGAN ACHIEVEMENT SCHOLARSHIP WEBINAR:

Signed Senior Shirts

Our senior class has put together a fun activity for our second to last day of school. The Dawg House will be making white t-shirts for seniors to purchase and us classmates can sign each other's shirts! Please see the picture to the right for more information. The link to order is below:

Elementary School Graduation Walk

Go back to where it all began! Wear your cap and gown to your elementary school for a clap out and pictures with former teachers and classmates. Details provided in the attached document that are specific to each school. Please register for the event with the QR code through your Romeo Schools gmail.

Class of 2024 Baccalaureate Service

This year's baccalaureate service for RHS grads will be on Tuesday, June 4th at 7pm at Barnabo Field (rain location in the RHS gym).
