Hello Westside families,

I don't know about you, but I am feeling ready for the snow to leave us for the season! Students have shown patience and resilience with the weather as we have navigated more snow, mud, and melted snow this week. It feels like we are all on the hunt for sunshine!

Our 4th and 5th graders worked incredibly hard on their ELA Forward exams this week. 2nd and 3rd graders have also been working through their AIMSWeb+ Testing. While this season of the spring feels busy, it is also exciting to have the opportunity to celebrate great growth and make goals for the rest of the school year. A moment of gratitude for the families that participated in our Top Secret Envelope challenge for testing- cards were well loved and propped up on tables during testing as a positive encouragement. We appreciate your time and partnership supporting Westside students!

We have installed a secure Lunch Money drop box in the main entrance. This is an easy, convenient and secure way for you or your student(s) to turn in lunch money without having to come into the office. It is located right under the buzzer. The office staff will be checking it daily. Please utilize this option for lunch money!

The River Falls Student Art Show at the River Falls Public Library begins Saturday, April 12. Join the RFSD Art teachers for the Gallery opening from 10am-12pm on April 12. The Student Art Show will be open through Thursday, May 15 during Library Open Hours.
