Pauba Valley Flight Plan
September 6, 2024
Dear Pilot Families,
Hello Pauba Families,
In our ongoing efforts to ensure the safety and security of our students and staff, the District installed a new secured front entry system. Beginning next week, the front doors will be locked during school hours. If you need to enter the building, you will be required to present a valid ID to the camera located at the entrance. Once your ID is verified, the door will be unlocked for you. Please note that if we see a student arriving late, we will unlock the door for them directly to minimize delays.
We understand that this new procedure may cause some inconvenience, particularly as not everyone always carries an ID. However, we believe this step is necessary to maintain a secure environment for all. We encourage you to remember to bring your ID with you when visiting the school during hours when the doors are locked.
Additionally, we kindly ask that you ensure your student has all necessary items with them when they arrive at school, such as their iPad, lunch/snack, and water bottles. These are the most commonly dropped-off items, and having them from the start of the day will help minimize disruptions. We will have a rolling cart outside so that forgotten items can be placed on it. Staff will check it throughout the day to deliver items to students.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we implement this new safety measure. Should you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Thank you for your continued support.
