Summer Camp Session 1 Upcoming Events

- Thursday, 6/20: Root Creek Hike Field Trip at Castle Crag State Park
- Friday, 6/21: Water Day Activities at School- Please come prepared to get wet (water wear and shoes), bring a towel, and wear sunscreen.
- Monday, 6/24: Regular Summer Camp Day at school
- Tuesday, 6/25: Regular Summer Camp Day at school
- Wednesday, 6/26: Fishing Trip to Lake Shastina with a picnic at the park
- Thursday, 6/27: Regular Summer Camp Day at school
- Friday, 6/28: Last day of 1st Session & Planetarium Field Trip
- Monday, July 22nd-Friday, August 9th: Summer Camp Session 2
All Fridays are Spirit Days- Wear your Castle Rock Elementary Spirit Shirts!

Castle Rock is happy to say that this year was our largest 8th Grade Graduating Class in many years. We had an amazing group of 11 graduates! We know that each of these students will excel in everything that they choose to do in high school and beyond! Castle Rock wishes you each the best of futures!

End of Year Awards
Our End of the Year Awards Assembly will be held on Tuesday, June 11 at 9:15 in our cafeteria. We celebrated our students for lots of different awards. The awards given included:
- Monthly Perfect Attendance Awards
- 3rd Trimester Perfect Attendance Awards
- Yearlong Perfect Attendance Awards
- Student of the Month Awards for May/June
- Super Hornet Awards for Outstanding Effort (TK-3rd Grade)
- A-B Honor Roll (4th-8th Grade)
- All A Honor Roll (4th-8th Grade)
- Most Improved Student Award (1per class)
- Top Academic Performing Student Awards (2 per class)
- Top Reader Award

Enrollment is now OPEN for next school year!
It is time for enrollment for the 2024-2025 School Year. Don't wait until the school year is about to begin. We are accepting enrollment for all grade levels (TK-8) for next school year. If you have a Transitional Kindergarten or Kindergarten student not currently enrolled that you would like to enroll for next school year, come on in any time to complete the enrollment process. Also, If you know of a family interested in enrolling their student(s) here at Castle Rock let them know that they can come on in to enroll them as well. Please feel free to share the flyer below with anyone that might be interested.
Message from Leslie Rames
As our summer has begun, I would like to express how grateful I am to be a part of such an amazing community of students, parents, and staff. This was an fantastic year filled with great memories and exciting events! Our students learned, achieved, and accomplished so much. We continued some amazing traditions such as Heritage Day, Christmas Craft Day, etc. We also began some fantastic new ones such as movie nights, our phenomenal Christmas Play, and many others.
Our year ended with a wonderful awards assembly filed with pride and celebration of student accomplishments and our 8th Grade Graduation in which we honored an amazing group of 11 students. We are very proud of all of students and their successes.
Looking ahead, we have many exciting new initiatives that we are bringing to Castle Rock, such as Pear Deck Tutoring which is a online tutoring service that our student will have unlimited access to at school and at home to help with any academic area. We will also be adding to some of the initiatives started during this current school year.
A special thank to all of our parents as you have contributed in so many small, large, and unimaginable ways!. The partnership between home and school, is so important. Our hope is to continue to build on this partnership this upcoming school year by providing parents with more options of how to help their students at home and ideas on how to be an even more powerful partner with our school.
