Happy, Happy Monday!

Hello Nixon Families,

  • Nixon Spirit Wear: Would you like some new Nixon Spirit clothes for yourself or your children? It's time to place your order! We have a new Nixon Bobcat and some new t-shirt designs. To order, click on the link at the top of the newsletter and order your Nixon Spirit Wear today!

  • October 9 is a No School Day: Just a reminder that we do NOT have school on Monday October 9 due to a staff learning day. Please reach out to our main office if you have any questions: 319-558-2188.

  • Nixon VIP Breakfast: Learners took home flyers for the VIP Breakfast taking place on October 11 & 12. We are asking families to either fill out the slip and send it back to school or submit an electronic form through the QR Code attached to the flyer so we can plan for the correct number of people attending. Please only fill out one form per family. Any number of VIPs may attend, please select a date that works best for your family if you can't come on your assigned day. We are asking that VIPs stay with their learner until 8:30 when they are able to go see the classrooms and say goodbye.

  • Nixon Food Pantry: The Nixon Food Pantry has been open for several weeks and we want to make sure YOU know about this service. We have various shelf-stable food items, as well as fresh items like fruit and bread. Please stop by on Fridays from 2:30-3:00 if you have a need for any of these items.
