Welcome to Green Meadows!

We are so excited you are interested in learning more about Green Meadows Intermediate School!

We have an amazing school with staff members who love students and work hard each day to help them be successful! We have around 430 students in third grade through fifth grade in our building. We have six classrooms in each grade level with world-class teachers leading them! We will provide your students with a great education in a caring environment!

Literacy is a daily focus at Green Meadows! All students have a built in DEAR reading time each day. Students are also placed into PACK groups based on their current data to help remediate or enrich any needed skills in reading. PACK groups are fluid and change often to meet the needs of all students. We also partner with Blue Ridge Primary for book buddies. Each classroom is partnered with another classroom to develop confidence in reading and writing, as well as build relationships with other students and teachers! Our teachers are all trained in the best practices in literacy and work hard to grow students each and every day. Our goal is to have at least 80% of our students at or above grade level norms. Literacy is the key to success!

Our students learn about post-secondary options and opportunities from many different avenues. Our school counselor, Mrs. Shockley, focuses on students with their goals. We also focus on post-secondary education in the classrooms with teachers working with students on what opportunities are out there, how to regulate emotions, and we also closely monitor students' growth in reading and math to make sure they are growing towards a successful future!

Principal

Mrs. Bultman is the proud Principal of Green Meadows. She has been principal at Green Meadows for 4 years and before that she was the Assistant Principal for 3 years at Green Meadows. Prior to coming to Community Schools of Frankfort, Mrs. Bultman was a school administrator in Indianapolis Public Schools. Mrs. Bultman loves being a Green Meadows Wolf! The students and staff at Green Meadows are the absolute best!

Assistant Principal

Mr. Doub is the proud Assistant Principal at Green Meadows. He has been Assistant Principal at Green Meadows for 3 years and before that he was teaching in Danville Schools. Mr. Doub loves spending time with his wife and 3 young sons when he is not working hard for the students and staff of Green Meadows!
