GRAD CLAS NOTES
College of Liberal Arts and Sciences Graduate Newsletter
Holiday Greetings from the Dean
We're almost there. Winter break.
But before that we have to work through a week of final papers, projects and exams, and probably some holiday shopping. It can be a time of stress, for many reasons, but please know that there are many people at Villanova who care about you and want to help you end the semester with success.
First, you have each other. We talk a lot about the spirit of community among our students, and I hope that narrative has proven true for you this year. Continue to support one another as you collectively cross the finish line and win together. Second, you have faculty who are invested in your success. That's why we are here, to mentor the next generation of professionals and scholars. Please seek us out with your questions and concerns. Finally, you also have the Graduate Studies staff. While we can't write your papers for you, complete your projects or take your exams, we can give you cookies! If you are able, please stop by Vasey Hall, Suite 202, any time during the day next week for Insomnia cookies and coffee. It's a small way for us to say "thank you" for all of the hard work you have put in this semester.
Good luck with finals, congratulations on a fantastic fall semester, and best wishes for a restful and rejuvenating winter break! On behalf of the Office of Graduate Studies, I wish you the happiest of holidays!
