Our PBIS committee is looking for donations!
As a community, we are asking all stakeholders to invest in our students who are doing good things. We want to encourage ALL students to be Woodside STRONG.
In order to fully stock team stores and weekly lunch raffles, we could use donations of small amount gift cards, candy, treats and school supplies.

Catching Up with the Counselors
Hello, Wonderful Families! π
We hope you all had a fantastic week! As we wrap up November, weβre excited to share some highlights from last week and whatβs coming up next.
Last week
8th grade students had an amazing time on our JA Field Trip! The students engaged in hands-on activities that taught them about various career opportunities for their futures. It was a wonderful experience filled with learning and fun! π
Additionally, we held our Fall School Counseling Advisory Council Meeting. The council is composed of leaders in the school and community and is tasked with examining services in three key domains of academic, personal, and college and career development in our students. We reviewed data and feedback on the effectiveness of the school counseling program and contributed ideas regarding the needs of Woodside students.
We also wrapped up our Personal Safety Presentations. The students learned essential skills to keep themselves and others safe, and we encourage you to continue these conversations at home.
Looking Ahead
As we look ahead, we want to remind everyone that Thanksgiving Break is just around the corner! π¦ Itβs a great time to relax and spend quality moments with family. We know holidays can be challenging; we want to encourage students to make appointments with counselors as needed.
In December will also be conducting a Needs Assessment Survey to gather feedback from students. Our students' thoughts are crucial in helping us improve our counseling programs! Please see the document below for more information: https://docs.google.com/document/d/11CIMnvnNtvAibpSmBucg6G2eTrH_OlAs0iYJBBqED6Q/edit?tab=t.0
Lastly, 8th Grade High School Scheduling will begin in December. Itβs an exciting time for our students as they prepare for the next step in their educational journey! We encourage you to review the course options with your students https://s3.amazonaws.com/scschoolfiles/3325/2024-2025_cdg_122023.pdf π
Until next time! π
Thank you for your continued support and involvement in our school community! Weβre looking forward to another great month ahead. Enjoy your weekend!
