Opening of LORI Certification will move from January to July in 2020; ILL statistics for FY2019 will be collected in January 2020.
The revised LORI Standards and Regulations went into effect January 3, 2020; libraries have through August 2020 to come into full compliance.
Voting for the 2020 RI Children's Book Award will take place February 3, 2020 - March 9, 2020. Beginning February 3, schools and libraries may submit their voting results.
The OLIS Jobline has completed its move to LibraryJobline, a project in partnership with the Library Research Service at the Colorado State Library.
The Library Board of Rhode Island (LBRI) surveyed the current state of school libraries in RI's elementary and secondary schools and made recommendations to strengthen school library media programs in RI schools.
New titles have been cataloged and are ready to be checked out from the OSL catalog.
OLIS has created a new service to connect libraries and presenters to support programming in libraries. Presenters interested in presenting in libraries are invited to submit their information.
