CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR ERIN GRADUATES!
GOOD LUCK CLASS OF 2024! WE'RE PROUD OF YOU ALL!
BEST WISHES ON A WONDERFUL RETIREMENT
We would like to extend our congratulations to Mrs. Dittman and Mrs. May on their respective retirements after teaching many years at Erin School. Two truly remarkable educators who have made an impact on so many! On behalf of the entire Erin School Community we wish these ladies a happy, healthy and long retirement.
Mrs. Terry Dittman (formerly Miss Kluesner), came to Erin School right out of college. She was hired as a 5-8 science teacher and also taught English and spelling at the start of her career. She then transitioned to our 6-8 middle school science teacher. Mrs. Dittman started 6th grade overnight camp at Camp Whitcomb Mason and a very successful Rocket Club among many other wonderful things. Throughout her 43 years of teaching science at Erin, Mrs Dittman’s students would describe her class as one with high expectations and many active experiments. Mrs. Dittman received the Herb Kohl Excellence Award in 1995. Erin students have consistently been successful in high school science classes. Thank you Mrs. Dittman for your lasting impact!
Mrs. Pam May (formerly Mrs. Eisen) did her student teaching and was a substitute teacher in California. She started teaching at Erin School in 1989 and has taught 5th grade for 35 years. Mrs. May received her masters degree in math intervention and has been one of our math experts on staff spending many evenings tutoring students. Mrs. May is passionate about starting the day positive with morning meetings. Mrs. May served on our leadership team and always is willing to put in the time and effort for the improvement of Erin School. Mrs. May also coached volleyball for many years. A parent wrote this message to Mrs. May and shared it with administration You made school wonderfully challenging and fun, thank you for sharing your enthusiasm with all children. Thank you Mrs. May for the many lives you have touched at Erin School!
