- Attention SENIORS: Attend TOMORROW night’s CASH for COLLEGE WORKSHOP from 6-8pm in the BV Cafeteria. Come to this free workshop to get the help you need to fill out the FAFSA & the CA Dream Act Applications.
- Everyone is welcome to join the Art Club on Wednesday, Jan. 22 at Lunch in room M2. We will be making Valentines Day cards to give to seniors in Retirement facilities. Join us to make some cards or bring your handmade cards to M2!
- Key Club Meeting this Wednesday at Lunch in the Atrium. We will be assembling care packages for local nurses and medical staff. Stop by to help out!
- Calling all Swimmers! Join us Thursday, January 23 for BV’s Swim Team Information Meeting during Lunch at the pool deck. Stop by to meet the new head coach and get info about the upcoming swim season.
- BV Aquatics Parent Information Meeting is this Thursday, January 23 at 7pm in the BV Cafeteria.
- Attention Students: Please place your Bike and Lock It up INSIDE the designated Gated Bike Rack Area. Do not leave bikes on the outside of the fences!

Athletic Events

Track & Field Team Conditioning begins TODAY after school at 3:45 in the stadium. Wear workout clothes. Must be cleared on Sports Net to participate.
TODAY, come watch BV Boys Basketball home games against Woodcreek. Frosh plays at 4:30pm, JV at 6pm and Varsity at 7:30pm. Today’s theme is Adam Sandler. Dress up and show your bronco support!
Field Day is this Saturday, Jan. 25 at 10am. Come help cleanup our baseball fields in preparation for the season. If you have gardening/yard tools (shovels, hula hoes, wheel barrows) please bring if possible! Parents are Welcome!!
Students wanting to participate in any sports, including conditioning and practices, must be cleared through Sports Net and have a current sports physical on file before you can begin!

- Attention Senior Athletes: The A. Dale Lacky Scholarship is now accepting applications. This is a prestigious scholarship awarded to graduating senior athletes who have excelled in academics, athletics, and leadership. Students need a cumulative unweighted GPA of 3.7. Email athletic director, Becky Stewart at becky.stewart@sanjuan.edu for an application. Applications are DUE January 31.
- The San Juan Unified Literary Magazine is currently looking for creative 9th - 12th grade students to share their voice with their writing or art. 2024-2025 theme: We are Dreamers. Students can submit their work to be published in the second edition of the San Juan Unified Literary Magazine for high school students. - Calling all 9th, 10th & 11th Graders! Do you want a Summer Job earning $16.50 an hour while getting work experience that makes a difference? This is a great opportunity for students to be able to meet and speak with various health professionals, health professional advisors and undergraduate pre-health students.
