Counselor Corner
Final Transcript to your college will be processed starting June 10 and until after graduation.

2024 High School Leadership Program - VA-10
THE PROGRAM
the 2024 High School Leadership Program will focus on one issue facing our region and nation wide - Agritourism. Students will hear from a range of speakers during the first week of the program with suggested reading provided for each session. During the second week, students are expected to use what they’ve learned to develop an initiative to address the issue of the program. Students will present their initiative to their cohort on the final two days of the program.
THE DATES
Program Time Frame: Monday, July 22nd – Friday, August 2nd . The first week will be at the Loudoun County Government Center, Great Country Farms, and the U.S. Capitol. The second week's presentations will be at the Brambleton Library.
During the first week, each session is expected to run for a half day. The second week will be an opportunity for independent work before the presentation sessions, which will be full days. The final schedule is forthcoming.
In order to receive a certificate of completion, students must present their initiative during the final two days of the program.
WHO CAN APPLY
The VA-10 High School Leadership Program is intended for high school students who demonstrate leadership and a passion for service to their community. All applicants must be residents of Virginia’s 10th congressional district.. Accommodations are available upon request.

SENIORS
Important dates & Deadlines
- 6/10/2024 - All Seniors complete their Senior End of Year Survey.
This is a required step prior to graduation as we will know where to send the final transcript, and important final step in your college enrollment process. The information collected will help our future senior class and overall post-graduation path. You must complete this survey no matter what is your plan after high school graduation.

Understanding your financial aid offer letter
As financial aid letters are rolling in it is necessary to understand what you are receiving and what offers should you also accept or decline.

18th Annual Aviation Education & Career Expo - Reserve your spot for the Fall.
I have received an invitation for the Aviation Education & Career Expo in Leesburg Executive Airport. This is geared toward students age 16 to 22.
If you are interested on attending please fill out this form.
The entire day is free of charge and includes lunch. We only have 10 spots reserved for RRHS, and this includes accompanying parents.
There is a scholarship portion to it - See attached the scholarship information
Expo is on November 8 (9am to 2pm) – Students are responsible for their own transportation and will be an excuse absence.
