Let's get summer started!
2024 Summer Swim and Dive Lessons- There is still availability for some sessions and age groups! We offer daily morning lessons, twice weekly evening lessons, and Saturday morning lessons to accommodate busy summer schedules. Our summer learn-to-swim lessons are for all ages and abilities. We even offer parent/tot classes.
Piranhas Summer Swim Team- The Piranhas Summer Swim Team is for swimmers ages 6-18 who would like to have fun, continue their swimming skills throughout the summer, and the opportunity to compete in four short, swim meets in the Craze Summer Swim League.
Surf 'N Splash Camps- Our Surf 'N Splash Camps are for ages 7-14 years and includes 75 minutes of exclusive FlowRider training and Open Recreation Swim time!
Preschool Beach- Our favorite program for our littlest swimmers has a new time for the summer season. Preschool Beach will be held on Fridays from 3-6 p.m. starting Friday, June 28.
New! Off-Season Conditioning Program
Calling all high school swimmers! Want to make sure you're ready for the upcoming season? Our conditioning program is designed to give high school aged athletes coached practices by a high school swim coach, during the off-season. These practices are meant to build aerobic base and develop stroke-specific skills for the purpose of improving competitive fitness for the upcoming high school seasons!
Registration is open and this program begins Monday, June 17!

Summer Lifeguard Training Courses
Interested in becoming a lifeguard? We are offering three American Red Cross Lifeguard Training Course sessions in July!
Choose from: (All classes will be held from 8 a.m.- 3 p.m.)
- Monday, July 8- Thursday, July 11
- Monday, July 15- Thursday, July 18
- Monday, July 29- Thursday, August 1
Students will learn life-saving skills including water and land rescue techniques and how to deliver critical care such as CPR, use an AED machine, and perform first aid.
New! Sensory Beach
Sensory Beach is water playtime geared towards children ages 6 and under with sensory sensitivities. This dedicated time offers water safety, sensory exploration, and social interaction for children with sensory processing needs.
Sensory Beach will be held on Sundays, starting Sunday, June 30 from 9 a.m.- noon in the zero-entry area of the Recreation Pool. During this time there will be limited capacity and water features and noisy equipment will be turned off to create a calmer experience.
Admission for children ages 6 and under is free with a paying adult (drop-in rate).
Local high school alumni return to coach Piranhas Summer Swim Team
Meet coaches, Kendall Benson, Garrett Chesley, Noah Henderson, and Keegan Lisenby are all former Snohomish swim team locals who have continued their swimming careers at their prospective colleges across the county and are now bringing their expertise and enthusiasm back to their hometown pool.
This quartet of college swimmers are excited to be coaching the Piranhas Summer Swim Team. The Piranhas is a team for youth ages 6 to 18 who practice and have the opportunity to compete in four local swim meets throughout the summer.

Opportunities at the Snohomish Aquatic Center are great part-time jobs. Must be ages 15+ for most jobs (water fitness instructors must be ages 18+). Experience not required - we will train the right person. Lifeguard applicants must be certified. All are rewarding jobs with flexible hours.
Starting wages are as follows:
- Competition systems support (meet management) - $18/hour
- Water fitness instructors - $18 /hour
- Lifeguards - $17 /hour
- Swim instructors - $17 /hour
- Guest service reps - $16.50 /hour

This facility has everything aquatic under one roof - swim lessons, surfing, diving, water play, recreational swim, competitive swim and water fitness classes.
The Snohomish Aquatic Center is a 52,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility owned and operated by the Snohomish School District. It includes a competition pool, a dive area, recreation pool, hot tub, spray-play area, zero-entry area, surf-simulation machine (FlowRider), lazy river, and the Splashtacular waterslide.
