FULL TEXT OF DR. PEPUKAYI'S OCTOBER 3 UPDATE
Greetings TCPS Families!
I am recording this update from the Talbot County Education Center. October is here, and I love this time of year. I hope you are enjoying the football games, the cooler weather, the fall colors, and of course, wearing those sweatshirts.
October is National Principals Month, and I am very proud of the exceptional leaders who lead our schools. Did you know that, after classroom teachers, school principals are the second most influential factor in students' academic success? Please show them some love if you have a chance!
We also recognize National Bullying Prevention Month to help educate and raise awareness about bullying prevention. Additionally, we are observing Disability Awareness Month to educate our community about visible and invisible disabilities, and promote inclusion and belonging for all students. This is directly related to our number two priority.
Have a great weekend, and remember it's always a great day for success at TCPS!
TCHD FLU CLINICS POSTPONED!
Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Flu vaccine clinic scheduled for 10/4/2024 at Easton Elementary School has been canceled. All other TCPS staff and student Flu clinics have been postponed as well.
We apologize for this delay and are working on rescheduling the clinics as soon as possible. As soon as these clinics can take place notification will go out to TCPS staff and families.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Director of School Health Program

FIRST QUARTER INTERIMS DELAYED DUE TO INTERNET OUTAGE
Students’ First Quarter Interim Reports were originally scheduled to be distributed today (October 3). Due to the recent internet connectivity issues, they will now be distributed next Wednesday, October 9.
Thank you!
Wear Orange on Ocober 16th to show unity for kindness, acceptance and inclusion and to send a visible message that no child should ever experience bullying.
