Thank you, parents and guardians, for attending our Fall parent-teacher conferences. Our teachers enjoyed sharing the growth your child has made during the first quarter, answering questions, and getting to know you. Your participation in these important discussions strengthens the bond between home and school, in turn, creating a more stable path for your child's successful educational career.

Remember to stay in contact with your child's teachers outside of conference time. You can always reach out via email or request additional conferences with teachers as needed. Teacher contact information is available on our school website here.

This is a reminder that our campus opens for students at 8:30 a.m. Students are NOT allowed to be dropped off or arrive before 8:30 a.m. There is no supervision on campus until 8:30 a.m. The only exception to the 8:30 a.m. arrival time is if your child chooses to have breakfast in the cafeteria starting at 8:15 a.m. or is arriving early for participation in a school club.

Early arrival of students without supervision is a safety issue. Unchaperoned students arriving on campus before 8:30 a.m. will not be supervised by any Desert Sage staff and can receive consequences for not following campus protocols. If your student walks or bikes to school, please make sure they are not leaving the house too early, causing their arrival on campus before 8:30 a.m. If your student is driven to school, please have the adult driving them remain with them until 8:30 a.m.

Thank you for ensuring that your student is arriving to campus no earlier than 8:30 a.m. when the campus is open and supervision is in place.

Halloween is Thursday, 10/31 and with that comes fun Fall/Autumn class parties. Teachers and students are looking forward to the day. As a reminder, students are not allowed to wear costumes to school. We encourage students to wear Fall/Autumn colors and other seasonal shirts to show their holiday spirit.

If you are a parent/guardian who will be joining your child's class party, your presence is highly valued. Please check in at the front office when you arrive. You will need to show identification and, while on campus, wear a "visitors" badge. When leaving you will sign out and return the badge to the office.

We look forward to a fun Fall day and having visitors on campus!
