Congratulations to the Cast, Crew, and Creative Team for a SPECTACULAR SHOW WEEKEND!
"ANNIE JR" was wonderful! We are so proud of our student performers who took to the stage for 4 performances this weekend.
Thank you to all the parent volunteers who lended a much needed hand this weekend!
Also, thank you to our wonderful SGB Community and all the SGB Parents and Students who came out to support their friends and classmates! We are truly blessed to be SGB STRONG!
Special thanks to Mrs. Karen Ruckdeschel, Mr. Michael Armida, and Ms. Madison Cu for their hard work and dedication to our SGB students!
"ANNIE JR." Cast Party will be held in school on Friday, May 10 for CAST and CREW. Students will also have a dress down day.
BLESSING OF THE SOIL
SGB students are invited to participate in an upcoming event, "The BLESSING OF THE SOIL" on Saturday, May 4th at 12:00PM at the Food Pantry headquarters in Haverstraw. This year His Eminence, Cardinal Dolan, will be presiding over the event.

SGB SPRING BOOK FAIR - MAY 1-3
Mark your calendar!
Students will shop on the following dates:
May 1 & 2 - Classes will sign up and your child's classroom teacher will let you know which day they will shop.
May 3 - The SGB Book Fair will stay open until 1pm. Parents can shop with their child after early dismissal.
Please use the convenient and cash-less e-wallet system for this BOOK FAIR!
You can load money onto a virtual wallet, and even send a link to grandparents and relatives to load book money into the wallet for their child. If there is money left over at the end of the fair, that money can carry over to another book fair.
NOTE: If your child brings CASH to the book fair, his/her change will be rounded up to the nearest dollar as there will not be coin change available. WE STRONGLY DISCOURAGE CASH.

NYS MATH TEST DATES & INFO
NYS TESTING - ELA
Grades 3-8 will be taking COMPUTER-BASED TESTS (CBT) for the NYS 2024 MATH Tests.
The testing schedule is as follows:
Grades 3- 5 - Tuesday, May 7 & Wednesday, May 8
Grade 6 - 8 - Tuesday, May 14 & Wednesday, May 15
A. INFORMATION FOR TESTING:
Students should eat a healthy breakfast (as usual!).
Students should bring a healthy snack and water bottle each day of testing.
Students will wear their gym uniforms and participate in physical activities prior to test taking.
Students must arrive on time at 8am.
Physical activities will be from 8:15-8:45am each morning of testing for grades 3-8.
Testing will be from 9am - 11:30am.
B. INFORMATION FOR STUDENTS NOT TESTING:
1. If your child will not be participating in the NYS MATH test, please click here to complete the form.

ONCE THE FORM IS COMPLETE, please complete the STUDENT ABSENCE FORM on our website as your child will be either coming in late or will be out that day.
2. All students WHO WILL NOT BE TAKING THE NY STATE MATH TESTS will remain home until 12pm.
Students will be marked late, but not absent on these two days.
Students who come to school will be administered the state tests, as we do not have the staff to accommodate non-test taking students.

- If you should require additional assistance with any concerns related to our school after meeting with Ms. Clarke, please contact Mrs. Cathleen Cassel, our Regional Superintendent for the Archdiocese of New York at (845) 831-3073.
We are a team and our first priority is providing an excellent academic and faith-based education for our students in a safe and nurturing environment at St. Gregory Barbarigo School.

2. CHANGES in DISMISSAL or ABSENCES
- Please complete the online form to notify the SGB Staff of any changes in your child's dismissal or if your child will be absent. Any child who is absent for 3 or more days must have a note from a doctor upon return. Thank you!
3. PARKING
- Please avoid parking in the teachers' parking lot. There is available parking in the church parking lot if you should arrive early. Please wait there until your child's drop off time.
4. VISITING SGB & NEW SIGN IN
- In an effort to keep our school safe and know when guests are in the building at all times, ALL adults will sign in when they enter.
