๐บ Prosper High School Band competes at STATE! ๐ฅ
Prosper High School Band placed 4th Place Overall at the Area J Marching Contest, earning a spot at the UIL 6A State Marching Band Competition - 4th time in school history!!! They will compete at the Alamodome in San Antonio.

๐ Walnut Grove Choir's Singing Christmas Cards
The WGHS Choir Department is thrilled to announce the arrival of Singing Christmas Cards in Prosper ISD. We are excited to be in the community and spread some holiday cheer. Check out the information below for details about this year's program and how to order your Singing Christmas Card today!
COST: $45 per delivery
DELIVERY WINDOWS: Dec 6-7; Dec 12-13, 2024 between 6:00-8:30 PM
DELIVERY AREA: Residential addresses in Prosper ISD. Please contact Mr. Cooley directly (elcooley@prosper-isd.net) for Corporate Bookings or requests that fall outside of this general boundary.
DELIVERY INCLUDES: Singers from the WGHS Vocal Ensemble will arrive at the delivery address and perform for approximately 8-10 minutes. This time frame typically allows for the performance of three carols from a catalog of prepared music.
ADDITIONAL NOTES:
Deliveries will be organized to minimize travel time between locations. Estimated arrival times will be emailed to the person who purchased the Singing Christmas Card approximately 24 hours before the requested delivery.
Slots for each night are limited. The form will stop accepting reservations when specific dates/time slots are full.

๐คRock Hill High School's Black Student Union
Rock Hill High School's Black Student Union, sponsored by Mr. London, hosted a special event featuring Seneca Wallace, a former 11-year NFL quarterback and franchise owner. Mrs. Battles moderated the event in which Coach Wallace shared his inspiring life story with students, emphasizing the importance of perseverance both on and off the field. He offered valuable advice on what it takes to succeed at the highest level of football and how those lessons helped him transition into a successful entrepreneur.
๐ Student Council at Rock Hill High School
Rock Hill High School's Student Council, sponsored by Ms. Johnson, held their 1st Annual Trunk or Treat!
๐ Lilyana Elementary's Student Council
Lilyana's Student Council, sponsored by Mw. Wingnet, had the opportunity to attend a TEPSA Student Council workshop in which students: Developed leadership skills to guide the team and make an impact on campus. Discovered techniques to generate peer participation in campus activities. Explored tools to create meaningful and challenging projects and fundraisers. Met and shared ideas with other student leaders from across the state.
๐ Rushing Middle School's Library Influencer Club
The Rushing Library Influencers, sponsored by Ms. Calhoun, work hard to promote all things library throughout the year! Right now they are working on finding books with a good first line to share with their peers as well as creating their own promotional buttons using the button maker!
๐งถ Hughes Elementary's Crochet Club
Students in grades 2-5 are pictured working on various projects in Ms. Saladini's Crochet Club at Hughes Elementary. Many learned how to make the beginning of a chain in this meeting. Watching them succeed and catch on is so fun!
๐ป Rushing Middle School's Minecraft Club
Ms. Watts' Minecraft Education Club at Rushing lets kids' imaginations go free! They are learning skills like architecture, underground minerals, world trading concepts, and much more - all while having fun!

UIL Academics T-shirts for Grades 2-12 are on sale now until December 1 so order yours now!! Campus colors and the designs are the same as last year. Students will wear their shirts at our meets as well as in the yearbook picture. Parents can also purchase shirts for themselves to support their student.
