Community Music Ensemble
The Community Music Ensemble is a partnership with the Georgia College & State University Department of Music. The department is committed to serving the broader university community through inclusive participation in ensembles and engaging course offerings. In order to do so, we would like to invite members of the local community to apply to participate in our ensembles.
Applications are due by noon on Friday, August 9th.
The CE Shop Learning Resources
Real Estate licensing is easier than you think. Finding where to start is even easier. Our partnership with The CE Shop provides countless resources for students interested in a career in real estate or expanding their knowledge. Choose from an array of online courses, or blog posts and e-books that touch on topics like "What Does a Real Estate Agent Do". There's always more to learn and The CE Shop is the place to go to find out more!
ServSafe Training: August 5th
Join us August 5th for ServSafe training and receive food safety certification! This program is recognized and accepted by the Georgia Department of Community Health, and the certification is valid for five years. In this one-day seminar, you will learn about potentially hazardous foods, safe food handling practices, purchasing and receiving standards, the HAACP food system, how to work with your regulatory inspection agency and more.
Registrations close on Monday, July 22nd.
GCSU Continuing Education Welcomes SSP International
Our department is proud to be part of bringing Summer Science Program International to GCSU this year! Georgia College & State University is one of three new schools in partnership this summer with SSP International which has provided stimulating and extensive science research opportunities for motivated high school students. This resident program will span 5 1/2 weeks and students will spend their time learning astrophysics in campus facilities, taught by Georgia College professors.
