On behalf of the School Safety Committee, welcome to the 2020-2021 school year... "Business as usual" Well business may not be as usual, but the safety concerns we deal with each school year are the same. St. Mary's still needs to have fire, severe weather, earthquake and active killer drills as usual. The Safety Committee has been working on ways to continue our regular school safety drills while accommodating for social distancing.

We have already completed our first fire drill and though it didn't go as smoothly as we would have liked, we all got out of the building in a timely manner. More information about other drills will come out as we get closer to them.

Thank you for your attention and participation in the Ruvna Training. We believe this will be a great asset to school safety at St. Mary's. If you have any questions about it, please see Joseph Miller. We will continue to practice and train with it throughout the school year.

St. Mary's will again participate in the Great American Shakeout this year on October 15th. Along with private and public schools across the midwest as well as universities, businesses and medical facilities, we will conduct an earthquake drill at 10:15 am on that day.
