SC READY Testing Begins

This week, all SJM students will be taking the writing and reading portions of the SC READY.

It is important your student eats breakfast on the day of the test and sleeps well the night before. Students should arrive to school on time as testing will begin promptly at 8:20am.

We will have silent lunches on testing days. Students should expect to remain in their testing environment until at least 1:30pm. Please do NOT schedule appointments during testing.

Per SC testing mandates, students are NOT allowed to have cell phones, smart watches, or any other electronic device in the room with them. Their devices will have to be powered down and stored in their book bags.

Students will complete the SC READY test on their student laptop through a secure browser. Students should make sure their device is fully charged on testing days.

Good luck, Mr. Brown

Mr. Jessie Brown, an SJM custodian and friendly face for the past five years, has moved to another position. We will miss you Mr. Brown and Good Luck in your new job!

Spring Band Concert

The SJM band performed a spring concert under the leadership of SJM band director, Mr. Chris Graham. The May 2nd concert was a success and demonstrated much of what students have learned this year.
