Principal Corner
This week was Inclusion Week for OHS! For the 3rd year, our Level 2 and 3 students have worked to share ideas and personal stories about inclusion and what that means to them. I always love seeing the amount of care and support our students give each other across all grades and levels. We truly have a fantastic group of students here at Otsego High School!
Our students have also done a great job the past few weeks NWEA testing, and our juniors completed the first big test of the year with the Act WorkKeys on Thursday. I hope everyone enjoys the warmer weather this weekend, and we'll see you for a short week before Spring Break on Monday!

May 2025 Bond Extension Goals
The May 2025 Bond Extension proposal focuses on four main areas - Innovation, Renovation, Safety & Security, and Facilities/Infrastructure. Within this zero-mill increase proposal, $46.5 million would be available to impact every building in our district, as well as impact the community, within these focus areas. Innovation for the classroom and instruction, the renovation of the former pool site, upgrades to safety and security and millions to keep our facilities and infrastructure up to the standard of excellence we expect and be able to efficiently maintain for years to come.
See the entire scope of the proposal online here: https://www.ourfuture-ourstudents-ourcommunity.com/
Reproductive Health Education Advisory Board
Otsego Public Schools Seeks Applicants for Reproductive Health Education Advisory Board
Otsego Public Schools is inviting parents and community members to apply for membership on the Reproductive Health Education Advisory Board. We are seeking individuals who are interested in contributing to this important initiative and can offer a broad perspective that reflects the diversity of our district.
To ensure a well-rounded board, membership must include parents of students attending the district’s schools, educators, local clergy, and community health professionals. While we already have a Reproductive Health Education Advisory Board in place, we are looking to fill additional openings in accordance with the criteria outlined above.
Please note that not everyone who applies will be selected, but we are committed to forming a board that accurately represents our community. If you're interested, please complete the application by using the link below. Applications will be accepted until April 18, 2025. The district will notify applicants about the status of their submission.
For any questions, please contact Jeff Haase, Superintendent of Schools.
