This week OHS junior Dylan Yarbrough has been selected as our Tiger of the Week! Dylan is one of OHS's awesome FFA officers and is an incredible asset to the program helping out wherever he can, according to FFA Sponsor Heath Wright.
"Dylan is a very involved student," Wright said. "He helps students in the shop, makes repairs, and can solve just about any problem. We can always count on him. He also does a lot of cooking for our FFA events. Dylan is looking to pursue a career in Agricultural Education."
Congrats Dylan!
This week, junior Toby Thompson has been selected as our Artist of the Week! Toby is a member of Ozark's Men's Chorus where he is a major asset, according to Assistant Choir Director Connor Gately
"Having Toby in Men's Chorus has been a game changer for us," Gately said. "Not only does he have a powerful singing voice, but he is also a great leader. He sets a great example for the bass section everyday. We're lucky to have him."
Congrats Toby!
This week, OHS junior Hudson Roberts has been selected as an Athlete of the Week! Hudson is a member of Ozark's boys basketball team, where he is a major scorer, just recently making a combined seven 3-pointers in the last two games Ozark has played, according to Head Coach Mark Schweitzer.
"Hudson has had an excellent start to the season this year," Schweitzer said. " He has led the team in scoring, averaging over 20 points and has really shown himself to be one of the better players in Southwest Missouri."
Congrats Hudson!
This week, OHS sophomore Josey Roberts has been selected as an Athlete of the Week! Josey has had a stellar start to the season, according to head coach Brandon Clift.
“Josey has averaged 14 points per game in our last 4 games," Clift said. "After playing junior varsity last year as a freshman, Josey has done a great job stepping into a varsity starting position this year. I feel like she will continue to grow as player as she becomes more comfortable playing at the varsity level. "
