Please remember that winter break for students is from December 23, 2024, to January 3, 2025. The District Office will be open on January 2 and 3, should you need assistance.

Matt Faulkner
Mr. Matt Faulkner, a 2008 Milford graduate, serves as the Athletic Director for Milford School District. Earlier this year, he transitioned from teaching to leading the athletics program, bringing his passion for sports and commitment to academic excellence. Faulkner shares, “I have always felt that athletics are an extension of education and knew I always wanted to be a coach and then an AD.” He holds a BA in American Studies and a Master’s in Secondary Teaching.

Buccaneer Educational Foundation (BEF):
Exciting news - the official launch of the Buccaneer Educational Foundation will hold its kick-off meeting later this month.
The mission of the new foundation is a partnership of educators, parents, business and civic leaders that will engage the entire community to inspire academic rigor, diverse learning opportunities and to help prepare Milford School District students to become well-rounded productive citizens.
“We plan to accomplish these goals in a number of ways,” Mr. Matt Bucher, Milford School Board Vice President shares. “Classroom size grants provide funding for projects that may be outside the budget of curriculum but nonetheless enrich education and give our students opportunities they may not otherwise have. This includes funding for STEM, arts and other programs, classroom resources, and field trips.”

School Choice:
Choice Applications for the 2025-2026 School Year: November 4, 2024 - January 8, 2025.
If your student is currently enrolled as a School Choice student, you must reapply for the 2025-2026 school year due to district reconfiguration. This applies to all K-5 School Choice students.
