Bond Update - October 2024

Henrietta Families - we are making great progress on our bond projects!


Track Update

The track is now available to be used, and we expect it to be completely finished in mid-November. We are planning for an opportunity for students, families and community members to come join us for a first lap around the new track once it is completed! Keep an eye out for the official announcement of the date and time for that.


High School Update

In the next week or so I will be sending out a video to talk about the high school design and let you know about some of the great features we have planned, which will benefit not only our students but the entire community. That video and the next newsletter will include several renderings of what we have planned. We expect to finish the design phase in the next several weeks, and construction will begin in the spring. I can't wait to share more with you about that.

Henrietta ISD is ALL IN

The Henrietta ISD community overwhelmingly approved a $36 million investment for a new high school and improvements to athletic facilities on May 4, 2024.


Henrietta ISD Superintendent Jaime Clark stated, "I am so excited for the future of Henrietta ISD and the opportunities these facilities and upgrades will provide our students for generations to come.”


Board of Trustees President Brad Yurcho conveyed gratitude, stating, "This success began many months ago with a community-led Facility Committee of parents, staff and community members who met to ensure all students in Henrietta ISD continue to have access to modern classrooms and innovative programs..”


With voters approving both propositions, the projected tax increase is 23 cents per $100 valuation. This tax rate will still be lower than the 2022 tax rate.
