Pre-School Families Flu Alert
“Flu vaccine is a requirement for child care/preschool attendance for those who are 6 through 59 months of age. At least one dose of flu vaccine is due by December 31 of each year. Children who do not have documentation of receiving the flu vaccine or don’t have a valid medical or religious exemption by December 31 will need to be excluded from school until the end of flu season, which is up until March 31 in NJ.”

Please provide documentation to the health office that your child received the flu vaccine to avoid exclusion on 1/2/2025.
Thank you!

Principal Monthly Book Club Sponsored by the PTA
Explorer Families,
The idea of our Principal Book Club is for everyone to interact with the same text in a variety of ways to continue to create a literacy community but also reinforce mindsets and habits we want to encourage with our Explorers being STAR students. I wanted to choose books, with the help of Mrs. Tracy Beyrodt, that teachers could use as a mentor text for reading, writing, SEL discussions, and refer back to all year long. The first week of each month beginning in October and ending in June, I will deliver a book to each classroom that has been specially selected. The book is for learners and to keep in each classroom library. The PTA has generously sponsored this initiative.
Explore Today. Lead Tomorrow,
Ms. Rodano
Principal at Harrison Elementary
