Hubbard's Cupboards in our schools!
Hubbard’s Cupboards, a collaboration between Crayons to Computers and the Sam Hubbard Foundation, stopped by and stocked their two cupboards located at Bellevue Middle and High School and Grandview Elementary this week. These cupboards are filled with essential supplies and healthy snacks that are available to our students when they are needed!
Kindergarteners make new friends!
This week, Ms. Weyer's Kindergarten class introduced themselves to their classmates by sharing an "All About Me" bag. Each student found something new that they have in common with each other!
Paulina Long hits 500 saves!
Congratulations to Bellevue Goalkeeper Paulina Long for reaching her 500th career save against Beechwood this week! Way to represent the Tigers!
High School Art gets ready for the year.
This week, High School Art I, II, and III created their own unique sketchbooks for the year ahead.
Recess at the park!
Grandview Elementary 5th Graders got to enjoy recess at Swope Park this week! The weather was perfect for our students.
Preschool Open House
Tuesday night, Bellevue Preschool held their Open House to get their new families ready for the year! All of the new students were excited to get some play time in their new classrooms!
Preschool Transition Days
This week we had two transition days for our incoming Bellevue Preschool students! Everyone is getting used to their classrooms and making new friends.
Learning about colliding forces in 8th Grade
This week, Mr. Hallman's 8th Graders used productive struggle and worked together to figure out why things sometimes get damaged when they collide. These students learned about contact forces by coming up with examples and figuring out what caused the collision.
National Park Adventures!
Ms. O'Neill's class created "Flat Rangers" to mail to National Parks around the country. These rangers will spend a week at the park they are sent to and hopefully return with pictures and letters that detail the adventure!
Algebra Puzzles
This week, Algebra I students worked together to solve algebra puzzle grids using the order of operations.
