We are so grateful to our PTO for bringing the Mobile AgLab to East Fallowfield. Every student had the opportunity to participate in this hands-on learning experience. The students participated in the following interactive lessons:

• Kindergarten - Little Red Hen
• 1st Grade - Popcorn Capers
• 2nd Grade - Colorful Bean
• 3rd Grade - Might Smooth Bear
• 4th Grade - Pigment Power
• 5th Grade - Snack Attack

The students had a great time during their lesson times and we were so fortunate to have the AgLab open to parents and families on Back-to-School Night.

Did you know Hispanic Heritage Month is celebrated from September 15th through October 15th? As a proud Latina, Principal Melissa Willis likes to celebrate this month with read alouds by Hispanic authors and other stories celebrating the contributions of Hispanic people to our culture and our world! This weeks biographic poem from the book, "Be Bold! Be Brave! Se Audaz, Se Valiente!" by Naibe Reynoso is about Hilda Solis.

Last Wednesday, East Fallowfield had their PBIS Kick Off! Mrs. Billman went on a school-wide tour, visiting every classroom with the PBIS cart, music, and a very special guest...Our school mascot, Sky the Eagle! Students will have the opportunity to shop once a cycle, turning in their Class Dojo points for prizes!

Rosie's Kettle Corn order forms are coming your way! Be on the lookout for the yellow order forms coming home with your student soon. All orders are due back to school on September 27th. Thank you in advance for your support of this fundraiser!
