Welcome Back Bluejays! I hope your summer has been a great one. In the elementary the custodial/maintenance staff have been hard at work getting the school ready. Teachers have been hard at it getting their classrooms set up! We are gearing up to greet you on August 15th for Open House. It will be from 5:00-8:00pm.

As the new principal of the elementary, I have been learning the layout of the building, meeting with teachers, and working on schedules to make the day run smoothly. The teachers have told me some amazing stories about your children and I can't wait to meet them! This will be my 19th year in education and I am excited to be here at Oak Ridge!

Kim Scheffer will be the contact person for early childhood parents who need their child to be enrolled in the early childhood center. Please refer to the enrollment email she has sent out regarding the process. If you did not receive an email, please reach out to her and let her know. Once Kim has the information she needs to set your child up in our information system, you will complete an official online enrollment process. We will also be hosting an early childhood enrollment day on August 14th from 10am-6pm for parents that need additional help with this process.

November 25th-29th- Thanksgiving Break! NO SCHOOL!

December 20th- Last day of the 1st Semester - Students Attend All Day!

Students that plan to ride a bike to and from school must have this permission slip outlining bike safety on campus on file in the office prior to bikes being allowed on campus.

Complete this form for routing bus transportation to or from school. Call 573-266-3232 if you have questions or need a temporary bus change.

Parents as Teachers is a home visiting program for families with children 0-5 years of age.
