K-2 and choir concert
Our CVA K-2 Spring Concert is fast approaching! Kindergarten through 2nd Grade and Choir students will be performing at 6 pm in the CVA gym on Tuesday, May 7th.
Parents - please do your best to help your student(s) look their best for the concert!
Here are the instructions for concert attire, report time, and special instructions:
- Kindergarten & 2nd grade: Students report to their home classrooms at 5:15 pm. Students must wear CVA uniforms.
- Choir: Dress rehearsal is from 3:30 to 4:30 pm in the music classroom. Students can stay at school until the concert starts, or parents can pick them up at 4:30 and bring them back at 5:30 at the latest to report to the music room. Please wear concert black: black tops, black skirts/pants, and black shoes. You can change before or after the rehearsal. Parents can drop off concert attire or students can bring it to school.
- 1st-grade: students and parents should meet in the Spanish room at 5 pm for the concert. They'll wear the same attire as the talent show. Attire will be ready in the Spanish class. Parents will help students change at school. After changing, parents can head to the gym, and students will go to the gym at 5:45 with the teachers.
- For girls: black Mary Jane shoes with a slight heel and hair up. Senora Kalina will have the dress.
- For boys: black long pants and a white collared shirt. Senora Kalina will provide the hat and bandana.
Parents please wait in the gym after dropping off students! We ask that you keep your students’ important belongings with you during the concert. At 5:45 pm, Classroom teachers will bring the students out to the gym. Students will be released to go and sit with their parents after their performance. However, we invite you to stay for the remainder of the concert.
All of the students have worked very hard to prepare a fantastic evening of music for you
to enjoy! We encourage you all to stay for the entirety of the concert. You won’t be disappointed! We
hope to see you all there!
