Wildcat Champions,

Welcome back! What a great first few days we have had in Wildcat Nation. I cannot wait to see all the incredible things our Lovington Wildcats accomplish this year. Light the way with HOPE and a Champion spirit. Go Cats!

Congratulations to Lovington Senior, Michael Nava, a JF Maddox Foundation Scholar Finalist. As a finalist, Michael will receive a $20,000 scholarship to be used at the university of his choice upon graduation. Semifinalists will also receive scholarship money, congratulations to LHS semifinalists Sawyer Bishop, Azul Salcido, Daisy Gutierrez Mora, Sergio Medina, and Jermy Mendoza. Thank you to our community partner, the JF Maddox Foundation, for their generous support of Lea County graduates.

The Lovington Schools K-6 After-School Program will begin August 20, 2024 and be held on Tuesday and Thursday 3:30 - 5:30. Students can be bussed to the After-School Program at Jefferson Elementary but must be picked up by 5:30. There will be no bus transportation home from the program this year.
