Thank you for a great week! I can't believe it is October already, this year is going so fast. Some of our biggest events of the year are this month, including our Panda Drive Fundraiser and our Fall Festival.

Dear Acacia Families,

Some parents have asked about the FSD bond on the November ballot and the impact it will have for our school. As a reminder, ballots should arrive in the mail the week of October 7th and Election Day is November 5th. Don’t forget to vote.

Safety is our number one priority at Acacia. We are asking all of our families and students to only use our designated entrance and exit gates for arrival and dismissal from school. The designated entrance and exit gates include the main Dorothy gate near the Kindergarten playground, and the gates that open to the parking lot. Please do not use our emergency gates that open to the field. We appreciate your support as we strive to keep our students safe.

Stop by our booth in front of the school between 7:30 and 8:00 am to celebrate and get some swag. You may even see a special guest!

This year’s festival will be packed with excitement, including food trucks, inflatable obstacle courses, a pumpkin patch, an online auction featuring teacher experiences and a birthday marquee, plus a bake sale, cake walk, and so much more!

New this year: We’re hosting a Pumpkin Decorating Contest with prizes for the top 3 winners! Stay tuned for more details on this and other festival fun.
