Message from Stonehedge Elementary School Principal
Dear Stonehedge Families-
Stonehedge had a spectacular start to the 24-25 school year! We missed having our classrooms, hallways, cafeterias and playgrounds filled with those smiling faces. On behalf of all of us at Stonehedge, we are thrilled to extend an extra warm welcome our new students and families. Everyone did a great job adjusting to back to school routines and procedures. Please support us as we continue to reinforce our school-wide expectations: Be Respectful, Be Responsible and Be Safe which ensure the safety and well-being of all students.
In the coming weeks, we will continue to practice our emergency drills, this includes evacuation and lockdown drills. Our teachers do an excellent job supporting and guiding students through these drills, ensuring everyone feels prepared and comfortable. Please consider discussing these safety procedures with your child at home.
Did you know family involvement is a huge indicator of student success at school? It sure is! To that... we hope you will join us for our Fall Curriculum Night on Wednesday, September 11th (see times below). This evening provides an opportunity to meet your child's teacher, see the classroom, and hear about the exciting curriculum your child will be learning this year.
I'd like to sincerely thank you for your support as we fine tune our transportation routines during arrival and dismissal. We appreciate you.
Rest up this weekend, Wildcats! It can be tiring to get back into the swing of school routines. Next week is going to be amazing. I can't wait to see you!
Mrs. Simmons

School Expectations
We continue to teach and review our school behavior expectations: Be respectful. Be responsible. Be safe.
The children have been learning how to act respectfully, responsibly and safely in all school settings: classrooms, cafeteria, playground, hallway, bus, and arrival/dismissal locations. We hold high expectations at Stonehedge, just as you would at home, and we have our Wildcat Wow incentive to motivate students.
Safety Drills
As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe learning environment, Stonehedge will be conducting safety drills in the coming weeks. These drills are essential in preparing both students and staff to respond effectively in case of emergencies.
Before the drills take place, our school officer will visit classrooms to discuss the importance of these procedures and explain what to expect. This is a great opportunity for students to ask questions and gain a better understanding of the safety measures we have in place.
