PLCS students at the Zoo Academy recently had the opportunity to help plan the Henry Doorly Zoo's annual Earth Day event, Party for the Planet! From family activities to attendee education, take a look at how this opportunity gives students hands-on experience.

2024 Thank a Teacher Parent Campaign
Wow – can you believe the end of the school year is almost here? As the school year wraps up, we have a unique opportunity for you to recognize a special PLCS teacher, administrator, or staff member while supporting the PLCS Family Fund – a program for PLCS staff and their families in times of illness, family emergencies, and other unexpected financial crises. Thank you to everyone who joined us at the parent/guardian engagement event!
On Wednesday, April 17, PLCS held a parent/guardian engagement event titled "5 Strategies to Support Your Student's Mental Health." This session, led by Deb Anderson, PLCS Mental Health Liaison, focused on equipping families with tools to nurture the mental well-being of students of all ages.
