Grade Level Updates | Enrichment Summer Packets
Thank you, parents and guardians, for all you do for your children. Our hope for you this summer is that you get many opportunities to learn and grow together doing things that you love! Whether it is outside playing ball, hiking, swimming, or inside watching movies, reading books, and playing games, we hope you enjoy being together!
For those rainy days, feel free to check out the enrichment packet linked below. Your child may have come home with a paper copy of this as well. If interested, feel free to print the packet of the grade that your child just completed in the 23-24 school year. Please do not let them work ahead, as we will use these packets again in future years.

GT School Action Teams
As an extension of the Gifted and Talented coaching staff, some teachers collaborated with colleagues to share GT resources, tips, and strategies for successful implementation within the classroom. These teachers are part of their school’s GT Action Team. The A.L. Lotts GT Action Team works with the other schools’ GT Action Teams across the district to share their monthly tips and strategies for implementing a featured GT resource. Through this collaboration, a variety of ideas have been collected and shared with teachers providing the opportunity for growth and learning among teachers and students. GT Action Team Members help other teachers feel confident implementing new strategies that focus on best practices. In doing so, we all became stronger teachers and students became more confident in tackling complex tasks. Thank you to the A.L. Lotts GT Action Team Members for your hard work this year. Thank you to the GT Action Teams at Amherst, Ball Camp, Beaumont, Blue Grass, Brickey, Carter, Farragut Primary, Farragut Intermediate, Mooreland Heights, Northshore, Pleasant Ridge, Ritta, and Rocky Hill. We are better together!
